Hello. I'm Wendy.

As a social entrepreneur, Wendy Strgar contributes to the good of the world by combining her imagination and her capacity to simply get things done. She starts each venture with one question: how can we be a force for good and love in the world? Starting there allows answers about what to do - and more importantly, how to do it - to become clear.

The mission of Good Clean Love, which Wendy founded in her kitchen back in 2003, is to increase the awareness and experience of love in the world. The company serves this mission by making the most scientifically advanced formulas for sexual health and incorporating earth-friendly business practices. Good Clean Love frequently collaborates with other organizations and businesses with shared values of sourcing safe, healthy ingredients, and prioritizing sustainability. In addition to advancing scientific research on sexual health, Good Clean Love has become a leader in moving the FDA toward non-animal testing methods for personal lubricants. This was possible with Wendy's leadership, vision, and advocacy.

The most critical aspect of Wendy's work has been elevating sexual health and wellness resources so they are available to all; beginning with education and advocacy at the forefront. That led her to launch Dear Sex Podcast - an outlet where Wendy and her guests can unravel the human relationship with sex and intimacy.

Love That Works: A Guide To Ensuring Intimacy

Commitment works best when we approach it as a method of personal growth. Ultimately our loving relationships are the most gentle and effective education we engage in to become the person we want to be. By creating an ecology in which love can thrive and be sustainable, we can solidify and enliven our primary relationships—by strengthening the relationship’s foundation, improving communication, understanding what it means to truly be together (even when apart), being comfortable with our own sexuality, and keeping the fire of intimacy burning bright. This book is dedicated to guiding that work. Wendy’s first book, built around years of her Sustainable Love writing, tackles the challenging issues of sustaining relationships and creating healthy intimate lives. Critics have acclaimed that Love That Works is an essential handbook for the daily practice of learning to cultivate the renewable resources of loving relationships and family.

Sex That Works: An Intimate Guide To Awakening Your Erotic Life

Millions of couples report sexual dissatisfaction as the number one reason for ending their relationship.  If you have lost that spark and depth of connection with your partner or have never had the kind of confidence you want in your sex life – Sex that Works is the intimate guide you have been looking for. The New York Times Book Review: “Thoughtful, well-written … inspirational … Strgar makes very good points about how we confuse sexual freedom with sexual license, resulting in a hookup culture that has us faking orgasms like porn stars. Authentic sexual freedom, she writes, means ‘taking responsibility for our own sexual needs.’ This book shows us how to do just that … Strgar argues persuasively that sexual pleasure, however you define it, is not a luxury but a necessity.”
